Building a More Inclusive Future Through AI
Artificial intelligence is reshaping how people work, learn, communicate, and access opportunities. As these technologies become more embedded in society, the decisions made during their development have a growing impact on who benefits, who participates, and who may be unintentionally excluded.
Despite rapid advances in AI, inclusion, accessibility, fairness, and accountability are often addressed after systems have already been designed and deployed.
EthicaAI was established to help change that.
We believe that innovation is strongest when diverse perspectives are included from the beginning. By bringing together community, education, research, governance, and practical innovation, EthicaAI works to advance approaches that help ensure emerging technologies serve a broader range of people and experiences.
Our Purpose:
EthicaAI exists to promote inclusive innovation in the age of artificial intelligence.
We seek to create opportunities for individuals, organizations, and communities to better understand emerging technologies, contribute to important conversations, and develop solutions that create meaningful impact.
Through collaboration, learning, research, and framework development, EthicaAI aims to help bridge the gap between technological advancement and equitable participation.

Kai Clarke is the founder of EthicaAI, an inclusive AI innovation initiative dedicated to advancing accessibility, participation, and accountability in the age of artificial intelligence.
Living with Multiple Sclerosis and navigating periods of vision loss, mobility challenges, and accessibility barriers, Kai developed a deep understanding of how systems, technologies, and institutions can unintentionally exclude people. These experiences inspired a commitment not only to advocacy, but to helping shape solutions that create greater access and opportunity for others.
A passionate disability advocate, Kai has used her platform to raise awareness around accessibility, inclusion, and equitable participation in technology and society. Her advocacy work has informed her broader mission of ensuring that emerging technologies are designed with diverse perspectives and lived experiences in mind.
Kai holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering from The University of the West Indies and began her career as an engineer, developing a strong technical foundation in systems thinking, problem-solving, and innovation. Over time, her work expanded into artificial intelligence, governance, digital transformation, operations, and organizational strategy, where she contributed to initiatives involving responsible AI adoption, policy development, risk management, process improvement, and technology governance.
Her work has been recognized through research initiatives, fellowships, public speaking engagements, and collaborations with regional and international stakeholders. She has contributed to conversations and projects involving institutions such as UN Women, the Planning Institute of Jamaica (PIOJ), and other organizations exploring the intersection of technology, inclusion, governance, and social impact.
Through EthicaAI, Kai is bringing together her experiences in engineering, advocacy, governance, research, and innovation to build a community-driven ecosystem dedicated to inclusive AI. This vision includes the EthicaAI Circle, the EthicaAI Fellowship, and the development of frameworks such as DISA™, FLAAF™, and JIAIS™—initiatives designed to help ensure that accessibility, fairness, accountability, and participation are considered throughout the innovation lifecycle.
She believes that the most effective solutions emerge when technical expertise is combined with lived experience, diverse perspectives, and a shared commitment to creating a future where innovation works for everyone.
