Bianca Welds is an innovation strategist and creative economy leader based in Jamaica, with a background in computer science, business, and arts management. She currently serves as Head of Projects & Partnerships at Kingston Creative, where she designs programmes, partnerships, and initiatives that strengthen entrepreneurship and the creative ecosystem. Throughout her career, she has worked at the intersection of technology, innovation, and human-centred development, helping organisations navigate change and build meaningful solutions.

Bianca’s interest in AI centres on its potential to expand opportunity while preserving creativity and human agency. Through the EthicaAI Caribbean Fellowship, she plans to explore practical methods and frameworks for adopting AI in the the Caribbean’s creative and cultural industries.
